CWBO Community Outreach
"CWBO is a proud participant in the following community outreach projects helping those in our own community:
West Valley Food Bank: donation of non-perishable food items including canned goods, boxed goods (mac and cheese,cereal, mashed potatoes, powered milk, etc), baby food, toilet tissue, etc.
Haven Hills: donation of non perishable food times, paper goods, new pillows, diapers, toys and art supplies. A private charity will donate $2.50 to Haven Hills for every cell phone donated, so bring the old cell phones!
Rescate Center Family Rescue Center: new and used clothing for men, women and children.
Military Personnel in Battle Areas: At every meeting note paper is passed to everyone so that a short note thanking our military battle troops can be written and given back to our community outreach chair to have delivered. We also donate condiment packets from fast food restaurants, hotel sized toiletries and insect repellent.
McAllister High School for Pregnant Teenagers: mentoring opportunities.
